And the future is...

What bothers me about this whole fiasco is that there is a certain Primeminister still sitting in a certain running for a certain next election in the same country that wants to eliminate the one broadcaster that doesn't moss over details and veers toward the hard-core truth of a situation that anyone else would just want to ignore. I mean really, that certain minister has done way more woopsies than this station...why not go the whole hog and fire the entire Cabinet and start afresh like the Netherlands did nearly two years ago? No, that wouldn't work...broadcasting stations aren't dangerous, they don't have their finger on the MI6s and 3's, therefore they are much easier to push down.
I just want to add my little opinion here. I am an Australian living in Holland and with BBC being the only english speaking forms of news and entertainment in this entire country, I want to ask a question. Do I have to move to England now, wait three years for a permit then find an apartment before I can recieve my news again? Oh...right...thats okay, I'll just stay here in the dark and become dumb.
